Electric Dreams: Robinsons Offices Offers EV Shuttle Service with the COMET Bus

Service offers an eco-friendly link between Bridgetowne & Robinsons Galleria

Robinsons Offices has significantly boosted the accessibility of Robinsons Land’s Bridgetowne Destination Estate by introducing an electric-powered transport service to and from Robinsons Galleria.

As part of their green initiative, Robinsons Offices and its parent company Robinsons Land are staunchly committed to providing the riding public with a safe, convenient, and sustainable commuting experience. With the City Optimized Managed Electric Transport (COMET) shuttle service, made possible in partnership with Global Electric Transport (GET), commuters now have an enjoyable and environmentally friendly way to travel.

Sustainable Commute

By taking the COMET shuttle service, passengers can actively contribute to the success of sustainability initiatives while enjoying an efficient commuting experience.

Powered by fully electric motors, the COMET buses are extremely quiet. Combining this with the shuttle’s well-maintained and air-conditioned interiors, a smooth journey is practically guaranteed. In this comfortable environment, passengers can engage in productive work, such as attending to emails and organizing schedules, or even indulge in a moment of relaxation with a book during their commute. To further ensure rider safety, COMET buses are closely monitored; Wi-fi is also provided, allowing passengers to stay connected at all times.

It’s well known that diesel-powered vehicles contribute significantly to air pollution, which leads to various health issues. By taking the COMET shuttle, passengers are contributing not only to the reduction of air pollution from harmful CO2 emissions, they’re also combating global warming. GET estimates that using a single COMET bus for just one year can reduce CO2 emissions by up to 40,000 kilograms.

Convenient and Accessible

Operating from Monday to Saturday from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. and from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., the COMET shuttle service conveniently transports up to 30 commuters at a time between Bridgetowne’s Giga Tower and Robinsons Galleria's Carpark Annex Terminal. This route can easily expand to stops at Robinsons Offices' premier office building, GBF Center 1, and the upcoming Opus Mall as soon as they become operational.

Commuters can access the service by downloading the GET-PASS mobile app on their smartphones. Since it uses the GET-PASS system, the COMET supports cashless fare collection, making payment hassle-free. In addition, by joining the Robinsons Riders Club group, each rider will be given a personalized QR code, which they can use to easily board and alight the COMET bus.

In the spirit of inclusion, accessibility is also a top priority. Each COMET bus is designed to accommodate passengers with disabilities, providing wheelchair users with an extending electric ramp for easy boarding access as well as a reserved spot next to the driver during the ride.
